What is your writing schedule like? I write fiction every morning for a couple hours. If I don’t, I get twitchy. Since I’m a journalist and book reviewer for my job, though, I’m pretty much either writing or reading all day long. Sometimes, by nightfall, I’ve forgotten how to communicate with other humans. I just walk around the house typing answers to my husband’s questions. Do you have any other passions besides writing? If yes, what are they? Why? Benedict Cumberbatch. This is my husband’s fault. He was watching TV one day—some show called Sherlock —and he said, “Babe, you gotta come watch this monologue.” I walked in, saw Benedict in a black suit, and was done. Today I'd like to introduce you all to an author that is completely new to me, but I hope to change that in the future. Elodie Parkes is a mutli-published author who writes erotic MM Suspense. Sounds juicey, doesn't it? Well, without further ado, I give you Elodie Parkes. 1. What inspires your stories? People and emotions often inspire my stories and other things such as doorways, buildings, scenery. I’ve been inspired by an old signpost, a paddock full of horses, and even a key. I’m one of those people who just see something and suddenly a story drops into my head, complete with characters and setting. It’s so exciting when it happens.
