Stalemate is the first book that I have read by Rose Sawyer and I couldn't put it down! There were so many unexpected surprises in this book and the combination of suspense/thriller combined with steamy bedroom scenes makes for an incredible journey. I never would have expected the two to make such a great pairing but it'll keep you on your toes from start to finish because just when you think you have it figured out there is yet another surprise. Elle is a complex character who will give you a run for your money she's got many secrets and I doubt we've even scratched the surface. On the other had there is Alex who is much more forth coming and shares his secrets but be warned this story line is not exactly for the faint of heart. It was really well written and I can't wait to see what's next.....
